The Instructional Coach will coach teachers using identified coaching models, teach demonstration lessons, support data analysis, and model best practices in effective teaching strategies through collaborative coaching sessions focused on individual teacher needs/goals. Compensation will be determined by coaching load through negotiation requiring board approval. Seeking experienced teacher leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

Bachelor’s degree, a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate, and 5 years of teaching experience as a classroom teacher. Experience as an Instructional Coach and/or Teacher Leader preferred.

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as state and local rules and regulations, operating and

maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak and communicate effectively. b

 

REASONING ABILITY

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or

diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized

situations.
