REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a cook
- Meet the following physical demands
- Stand for long periods of time
- Display manual dexterity
- Reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and crawl
- Regularly lift or move up to 20 pounds
- Frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Display hearing, visual, and olfactory acuity

- Food Service Director/Kitchen Manager
JOB GOALS:
- To assist the head cook in any way necessary in the preparation and serving of the meals to students, staff and visitors.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the policies of the Board of Education.
- Communicate appropriately with supervisors, other employees, students and visitors.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful environment.
- Maintain an acceptable standard of personal appearance.
- Help with the baking, vegetable preparation, main dish preparation, sandwiches, salads, desserts, etc.
- Help serve breakfast, lunch, do dishes and clean daily.
- Assist with inventory and ordering as requested.
- Assume responsibility for tasks other than those listed which may be assigned by a supervisor.
